1. Privacy at a Glance
DueGlance does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data with the developer or third parties.
The DueGlance app does not track users, require an account, or connect to a developer-operated network service. Its pregnancy calculations run locally on your devices.
This policy describes the data practices of the DueGlance iPhone app, Apple Watch app, widgets, and complications. Apple may process App Store, device, or system-service information under Apple’s own privacy policies; that processing is not DueGlance data collection.
2. Information Stored on Your Devices
Your selected due date and display preferences are stored locally on your devices and are used only to calculate and display pregnancy information.
DueGlance uses Apple’s UserDefaults storage and an App Group to store:
- the due date you choose; and
- your selected display styles for the App, widgets, Lock Screen, and Watch surfaces.
The App Group exists only so the DueGlance iPhone app and its WidgetKit extension can share those values on the same device. It is not a cloud account, cloud backup, or developer database.
3. Information We Collect
DueGlance collects no data. In particular, the app does not collect personal information, contact details, device identifiers, health information, usage logs, or the due date and display preferences stored on your devices.
The app does not require registration, login, or creation of an account.
4. Tracking, Analytics, and Advertising
The DueGlance app does not:
- track you across apps or websites;
- use advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs;
- display advertisements; or
- include third-party SDKs.
DueGlance has no developer-operated server or network service to receive app data.
5. iPhone and Apple Watch Synchronization
DueGlance uses Apple’s WatchConnectivity framework only to pass the selected due date and display styles between your own paired iPhone and Apple Watch.
Synchronized values remain within Apple’s device-to-device and app-extension mechanisms and are not sent to a developer-operated server.
DueGlance does not use iCloud synchronization or cloud backup.
6. Permissions and Health Data
DueGlance does not integrate with HealthKit and does not read or write Apple Health data. It does not request access to:
- location;
- contacts;
- photos;
- camera; or
- microphone.
DueGlance provides general informational calculations only and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or health services.
7. Data Retention and Your Choices
Because DueGlance does not collect data, the developer has no personal data from the app to retain or delete.
The due date and display preferences stored on your devices remain there until you change them or remove DueGlance and its associated local data using Apple’s platform controls. You can select a different due date or display style in the App at any time.
8. Children’s Privacy
DueGlance does not knowingly collect personal information from children or from any other users because the app does not collect personal data at all. The app is an informational pregnancy-week display and is not a medical service.
9. Changes to This Policy
If DueGlance’s privacy practices change, this policy and the app’s App Store privacy information will be updated. The effective date at the top of this page shows when the current version became effective.
